NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® REACHES AGREEMENT TO RESOLVE NATIONWIDE CLAIMS BROUGHT BY HOME SELLERS
The agreement would resolve claims against NAR, over one million NAR members, all state/territorial and local REALTOR® associations, all association-owned MLSs, and all brokerages with an NAR member as principal that had a residential transaction volume in 2022 of $2 billion or below.

Litigation Update: Preliminary Approval by the Court, Action Required to Participate
April 25, 2024
Preliminary approval of the proposed settlement of the Sitzer/Burnett case was granted by the federal court on April 23. In its order, the court stated that “the proposed settlement with NAR, as set forth in the Settlement Agreement, is fair, reasonable and adequate, the class representatives have adequately represented the class … and the Court will likely be able to approve the Settlements … .”
