An Internet Data Exchange (IDX) is a feed that allows listings from the MLS to be displayed and searched on your website by the public. Most agents and offices use this type of feed.

The broker (not the agent) must fill out the information on the left side of the last page, including the information requested in the box, then save all pages as one pdf and email it to either the vendor they/their agent is using, or email it to the MLS Administrator (mls@lubbockrealtors.com) with the name of the vendor they will be using.

The vendor can also start the process by filling out the right hand side of the last page of this form, including the information in the box, and send it to the broker they are working with. The vendor would then send the completed form to mls@lubbockrealtors.com .

Once the completed form is received, credentials will be sent to the vendor, usually within one business day.

A Virtual Office Website (VOW) is a feed that contains additional information than an IDX feed but is only available to the public if a login is required. Most VOW’s are used by offices as a “back office” product, though there are some offices that also setup a VOW for clients to see information that normally isn’t available to the public. Contact the vendor you are working with to setup this part of your website for more information.

The Lubbock MLS only provides RESO compliant Web API feeds to new vendors. If an existing vendor has not transitioned to Web API, a RETS feed can be provided until they complete the transition. Contact Tonya at mls@lubbockrealtors.comfor more information.

Currently the Lubbock MLS does not charge agents or vendors for this service.
